He started the first Lavazza store in Turin in 1895, and it was there where he discovered the different origins and characteristics of coffee beans from all over the world. He studied different varieties of beans, then brought them together to create blends that would satisfy his customers' tastes. The result? A new way to brew delicious coffee that could be enjoyed anywhere in Italy (and beyond)! And when you’ve been this successful for over 120 years, it’s inarguable that you’re doing something right.
