That standard traces back to their father, Jamal, who brought his Jerusalem-style hummus into his restaurant kitchen in Minnesota in the late 1970s, where it quickly became the most requested dish. Today, Rana and Khalid carry that same approach forward, building Baba Hummus around the recipe they grew up with while expanding into new flavours that reflect both their Palestinian roots and their North American upbringing.
