Educated Beards

Educated Beards is aptly named, given that it started from a beard, or more known as “The Beard”, which is what one of the founders of Educated Bears, Kevin Leboeuf, had grown out after he’d begun his release from the Canadian Armed forces. Along with a new look, came a new life in the form of a baby boy with partner and other founder, Alicia Philips. Kevin had spent time acclimating back into civilian life, all the time, growing out his beard, which came with irritation, general discomfort and dissatisfaction, which led to his first purchase of a beard oil. While Alicia was very supportive of his decision, with her being a Holistic Nutritionist, she didn’t really love the harsh chemicals that were in his beard oil and went on the hunt for something more safe an effective, but when she couldn’t find anything that met her criteria, she decided to look within her own background for solutions. And thus began the Educated Beard!
