This 70% cacao chocolate was our very first formulation. Some people say that a 70% bar is the ideal mix of cocoa bean and sugar. We tend to agree. Rich and deep, neither sweet nor bitter. Just great dark chocolate.
The chocolate is made Bean to Bar at source in Peru, which allows us to use newly harvested fresh cocoa beans - we can lock in the fresh flavor rather than shipping the beans half way round the world and having them age and deteriorate before getting processed into chocolate.
The cocoa in this bar was grown by UTZ certified farmers who implement better farming practices, with respect to people and the planet.
