The story of E&C begins with Ellen (co-founder), who had been baking hunks for over 30 years with her top-secret recipe. While Ellen's nephew Casey (co-founder), was at college, she sent him a new type of cookie she had been working on. And with one bite, Casey's light bulb (and taste buds) went off.
The following week when Casey came home to visit, he asked Ellen if they could start a cookie company together. Without hesitation, Ellen said yes, and showed him the recipe. Casey was the second set of eyes ever to see the recipe.
Casey worked to further perfect the recipe so the Hunks could stay fresh on the journey from their baking kitchen to your home. Ellen and Casey made it a rule to use only sustainably-sourced, real and fresh ingredients, free of additives that you can find in your kitchen at home. After endless R&D hours, he tested a batch of gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, non-GMO Hunks for his sister and mom so they could experience the cookies too. This new recipe tasted so good it became the standard, so now Heavenly Hunks are as inclusive and free of allergens as possible.
These perfectly square Hunks are soft, chewy, and full of flavour. They're big enough bites to satisfy, but small enough that you can't eat just one.
