Put a better-for-you spin on the viral Dot Cake trend! Made with Simple Mills Vanilla Cupcake Mix, creamy frosting, and naturally coloured sprinkles, this fun and colourful gluten-free dessert is easy to make and perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or anytime you want a sweet treat that looks as good as it tastes.

Servings: 12 muffins

Ingredients: 

 

Directions: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 325F.
  2. Grease a small ramekin with oil and set aside. 
  3. Bake the Simple Mills cupcake mix by whisking together eggs, water, oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add in the dry baking mixture until well combined.
  5.  Pour batter into a greased ramekin and bake for 18-23 minutes. 
  6. Let cool completely before topping with frosting. 
  7. Place sprinkles in a shallow dish and dip the entire cake in sprinkles so they fully coat the frosting. 

(with the remaining batter you can make more dot cakes in ramekins, or simply put batter in a muffin tray).
