To maintain the freshness of Katz baked goods without using preservatives, they are frozen immediately after baking. The gluten-free pastries are stored frozen and will thaw in-transit and arrive ready to enjoy. We don't include ice packs, as the product can be out of the freezer for several days, which we use for shipping purposes. If you prefer to enjoy them later, simply re-freeze and enjoy by the best by date on the box. This information is also provided on the sticker on each box you receive.
Because of this, we cannot, unfortunately, guarantee safe delivery of this product to provinces other than Ontario and Quebec. If you live outside of ON or QC, please use your discretion if you still wish to order the product as we would not be able to compensate you in case the product arrives spoiled.
