Spicy Paleo Italian Sausage Pizza

The herbaceous crust made with Simple Mills Pizza Dough almond flour mix topped with spicy italian sausage and mushrooms will change your weekninght routine!

Spicy Paleo Italian Sausage Pizza

Makes: 2-8” pizzas


For the crust
1 box Simple Mills Pizza Dough
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
6 tablespoons of water

For the topping
1 cup pizza sauce
½ lb. ground hot Italian sausage, cooked
½ cup Cremini mushrooms, sliced
½ cup red bell pepper, diced
2 cups baby arugula


Prepare the crus
Prepare Simple Mills Pizza Dough according to package directions. Separate dough into 2 equal sized portions, roll into two balls, and place onto two parchment paper lined baking sheets. Flatten dough and shape into two 8 inch circles with raised edges.

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F. Bake crusts for 5 minutes without toppings. Remove from the oven and add pizza sauce, cooked Italian sausage, mushrooms, and red bell pepper. Bake for an additional 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with fresh arugula before serving.
