Cold, refreshing iced tea is a summer staple – and this gluten free iced tea is sure to hit the spot! Our mango-apple iced tea is made with floral jasmine green tea, and the added benefits of Navitas Organics Maca Powder and Collagen powder, for a tasty Whole30 beverage sure to quench your thirst and leave you feeling revitalized!
Gluten-free, Vegan, Whole30
Serves 6
Ingredients
6 Cups filtered water
4 Teaspoons maca powder
½ Cup pure mango juice
½ Cup pure apple juice
1 Lemon, sliced
Collagen Powder, for serving
Fresh mango, for serving
Ice, for serving
Directions
1. In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, add the teabags, and set aside. Allow the tea to steep for 3-4 minutes only, then stir in the maca powder. Note: leaving the tea to steep longer may result in a bitter taste.
2. Transfer the tea to a pitcher, and place in the refrigerator to cool. Once cooled, add the mango juice, apple juice, and lemon slices.
3. Before serving, stir well as the maca powder will settle to the bottom. Add one scoop of collagen powder to the cup. Serve with ice and fresh mango and mint.
