Keto-Friendly Maple Bourbon Café Mocha

When the weather starts to cool off, warm up with some homemade Maple Bourbon Café Mocha. Chocolate and coffee come together for a creamy, rich drink that will keep you cozy on the colder days ahead.


Vegan, Plant-Based, Keto

Serves: 1



1 cup plant-based milk of choice

1 tablespoon raw cacao powder or vegan hot chocolate mix 

2 long shots of espresso OR ½ cup of strong brewed coffee

2 teaspoons Matteo’s Thin Maple Bourbon Coffee Syrup, or more to taste

Coconut whipped cream, for serving 

Vegan chocolate shavings, for serving (optional)



In a small pot over medium heat, add the milk and cacao powder (or hot chocolate mix). Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until hot. Transfer the mixture to a blender, and add the espresso and Matteo’s Thin Maple Bourbon Coffee Syrup. Secure the lid, and blend for 8-10 seconds or until frothy. 

Pour into a mug, and add a dollop of coconut whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Enjoy.
