Simple Summer Caprese Salad
We didn’t invent the Caprese salad. But we may have just perfected it! Our tasty summer Caprese salad is a colourful medley of tomatoes, mozzarella and basil pesto with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar that makes for the perfect bite, every time.
Ingredients:
- 3 large, ripe tomatoes
- 12 ounces fresh mozzarella, thickly sliced
- MadeWith organic balsamic vinegar glaze
- Basil pesto
- High-quality extra virgin olive oil
- Sprinkle of coarse sea salt flakes
Directions:
- Cut the tomatoes into thick slices and arrange them on a platter and top each slice with the mozzarella cheese
- Drizzle over basil pesto, balsamic glaze reduction, extra virgin olive oil, and sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Enjoy!
