Spicy Paleo Italian Sausage Pizza

Makes: 2-8” pizzas




1 box Simple Mills Pizza Dough

1 cup pizza sauce (try our “Rao's Homemade Pizza Sauce”)

1/2 lb. ground hot Italian sausage, cooked

1/2 cup Cremini mushrooms, sliced

1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced

2 cups baby arugula




1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F.

2. Prepare Simple Mills Pizza Dough according to package directions. Separate dough into 2 equal sized portions, roll into two balls, and place onto two parchment paper lined baking sheets. Flatten dough and shape into two 8 inch circles with raised edges.

3.Bake crusts for 5 minutes without toppings. Remove from the oven and add pizza sauce, cooked Italian sausage, mushrooms, and red bell pepper.  Bake for an additional 20 minutes.

4. Remove from the oven and top with fresh arugula before serving.
