Burrata Fig Salad With Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

- 1 burrata cheese ball (about 8 ounces)
- 6-8 ripe fresh figs, quartered
- 4 cups mixed greens (e.g., arugula, baby spinach, or spring mix)
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts or pecans, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces
- 2-3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
