Now this is a drink worth staying up for! Ring in the new year with a Sparkling jalapeno Margarita using Betty Buzz Sparkling Lemon Lime Mixer! Skip the tequila for a delicious mocktail
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon cane sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 lime wedge, plus more for serving
½ small jalapeno pepper, cut into thin rounds
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
2 ounces Tequila (optional)
1 cup Ice, divided
1 bottle Betty Buzz Sparkling Lemon Lime Mixer
Directions:
Combine the salt, sugar, and chili powder on a rimmed plate and mix together. Rub the rim of the cocktail glass with the lime wedge, and then dip the rim into the salt, sugar and chili powder mixture. Fill the glasses with ice and set aside.
Add the jalapeno rounds and lime juice to a cocktail shaker and gently muddle. Add the orange juice, tequila, and ice and shake for 6-8 seconds.
Strain the mixture equally into each glass, and top with Betty Buzz Sparkling Lemon Lime Mixer. Garnish with jalapeno slices and serve.
