Easy Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Get ready to bean amazed with these easy black bean burgers! They're here to prove that beans really are the “bean” all and end all of flavour. Hearty and satisfying, and packed with protein, these black bean burger patties are simply un-bean-lievable!

 

Vegan, Plant-Based, Gluten-Free, Grain-Free
Makes 8-10 burger patties

Ingredients:

1 cup black beans 
1 small yellow onion diced
1 orange bell pepper 
1 cup chickpea flour 
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Roma tomato 
Romaine lettuce
Choice of sauce like buffalo sauce or ketchup 
Red onion slices

Directions:

1. Add beans, yellow onion, bell pepper, chickpea flour, olive oil, and seasonings to a food processor. Blend until just combined. Form mixture into patties and either bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, or fry on medium low heat. 
2. Assemble your burger with the rest of the ingredients. Enjoy!
