Warm Chicken Liver Salad
This warm salad is so simple and so tasty! The sweet and savoury citrus dressing takes it to the next level, while the pine nuts add a nice crunch and makes this salad a masterpiece! It’s an easy recipe that everyone will love.
Ingredients:
- ½ lbs Chicken liver
-1.5 tbsp Cornstarch
-2 tbsp Soy sauce
-1 tsp Honey
Handful of salad mix
-1 Orange
-1 tsp Pine nuts
Dressing:
-1 tbsp Orange juice
-1/2 tbsp Lemon juice
-1 tbsp Olive oil
-1/3 tbsp Whole grain mustard
-1/2 tsp Honey
Directions:
- Coat the liver in cornstarch and fry in a pan for about 6-8 minutes or until fully cooked. Add the soy sauce and honey and stir until thickened.
- Mix all of the dressing ingredients together and it’s ready to be plated with your favourite salad greens!
- Segment the orange and add it to the salad. Sprinkle the pine nuts on top and enjoy!
